Research and planning - total film magazine cover

- The total film magazine cover has used a bold font for the title of the magazine cover which makes the title have statement and stands out within the magazine cover which shall infer to the reader what the magazines going to include as the magazine includes similar type genre films which are shown within the film industry and which are going to be a success which shall make the film have more of a fan base from the information about the film from the magazine cover and what's going to be included inside the magazine which shall make the film have opinions from the audience within the film industry.
- The use of having an image as the background makes the magazine look more professional and interesting as there's more variation of what's going on within the background which shall appeal towards the audience as it makes it look intriguing which links to the genre of the film.
- The use of text for ' Max Payne' which is placed towards the middle bottom of the magazine cover has used an effective font which is the like broken glass which infers that its an action genre film which links with the guns the main character is holding in the background which shall make the audience have an understanding of what's going to be included within the film and what the film is going to be about. It gives the audience a suspense of what the film is going to in tale.
- The body language and facial expression used from the main actor infers that he's serious and show is energy and his mind set to his action which is taking place. He's positioned in a way where the audience is looking up at him which infers that he has dominance which infers confidence within the actor which is included within the convention of an action genre film.

By using the colour black for the background makes it more of a statement and links with a action genre film and creates the text of the magazine cover to stand out towards the audience more as the magazine cover has used the colours white and yellow which represent energy which shall engage the audience more as they shall be intrigued towards the film which is a convention of a action genre film within the film industry.
